Emesco’s Schonau Solar Energy accepted as Conditional Member of SAPP.

The Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) has admitted Emesco’s Schonau Solar Energy as a Conditional Member, in the category Market Participant – one of the first in this new membership category and one of the first solar plants accepted as member of SAPP.

125 MW Generation & Export licenses awarded to Emesco’s Schonau Solar Energy by Namibia's ECB.

The Namibian Electricity Control Board (ECB) has issued generation and export licenses to Schonau Solar Energy, a 125 MW PV plant being developed by Emesco. This is the first of its size and kind to be issued by the ECB under the Modified Single Buyer (MSB) Framework.
